Finishing Options
Matted
These pieces are vacuum mounted onto foamcore board and then finished with a standard single or double mat in the client’s choice of colors. Special mat cuts (such as an oval or other pattern) are available upon request. The piece is then covered in the client’s choice of glazing (glass, acrylic, etc.) and framed.
Frame Tight
The image (which can be a standard poster or a poster that is transferred onto canvas) is vacuum mounted onto foamcore board and framed without matting. If a poster is framed, the client may choose to cover the image in a standard glazing. Posters that have been transferred onto canvas are laminated and therefore do not need to be covered in glass or acrylic.
Gallery Wrap
Images that are transferred or printed directly onto canvas can be wrapped onto wooden stretcher bars just like canvas paintings. ArtLine offers the ability to even print your own images onto canvas, as well as mirroring your image around the sides so you don’t lose any part of the image on the front. Wrapped canvases can also be done with blank sides if the client wishes.
Acrylic with Standoffs
Your poster or other image can be “sandwiched” between two pieces of acrylic and hung on the wall with aluminum standoffs, or have your image custom printed directly onto the acrylic for a more contemporary look. Along with acrylic, we have the ability to print on various other substrates such as bamboo or aluminum. The possibilities really are endless!
Aluminum Box
ArtLine can take your digital image and print it onto one of our custom aluminum boxes. These boxes are made of a sheet of aluminum with a plastic core, so weight is certainly not an issue. These pieces can be affixed to the wall with a standard hook and wire system or with our custom security hardware
