Wisconsin Veterans Home at King

Project Details

The Wisconsin Veterans Home at King is a long-term and rehabilitative care facility serving veterans, their spouses, surviving spouses, and Gold Star Parents. Focused on enhancing the quality of life for residents, they entrusted us with designing a veteran-themed art collection for their newly added building. This collection was crafted to honor the service and sacrifice of those who call this facility home.

Obstacles
Working with a tight budget, we reframed much of the existing art to save costs while ensuring the old pieces blended seamlessly with the new.

Final Result
We were able to combine new and existing art to create a cohesive collection that honors the veterans residing at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King. Partnering with photographer and veteran John Adams, who generously donated many of his original photographs, we incorporated his work into framed pieces and canvas prints throughout the facility. His wife’s father stayed at the facilty in the 1970’s and he wanted to honor him with his work.

One of our most popular offerings, the wood and metal military seals, were paired with a framed vintage U.S. flag, displayed prominently as you exit the elevator on each floor.

It’s always an honor for us at Artline Ltd. to contribute to spaces that care for veterans. The work we created for the John R. Moses Veterans Home is truly inspirational, and we hope it brings comfort and appreciation to the residents who served.
